I work for Wayne State University's Telecommunications department.
I manage the Data Network Services group, which means that we are responsible for our Internet and Intranet data connections.

Advanced Network Communications Project Phase III

WSU is beginning the final phase of upgrading the campus network. When this is done we should go into maintainence mode for a few years. The project objective is to rewire and reengineer the data, voice and video infrastructure for every building on campus.

Coffee

I have a new favorite coffeehouse "Audrey Loves Coffee". It's a nice place. Peter, the owner, was recently featured on Judy Adam's segment on WDET radio. This is a family run business (mostly) staffed by Peter, Trish, and Audrey (of course).

I love Caffé D'arte coffee from Seattle. Great Stuff.
